In most cases, a Canadian High School Diploma is not sufficient for direct entry into Bachelor’s programs in Germany. Typically, applicants are required to complete either a preparatory year (Studienkolleg) or a full year of university study in Canada.

However HFU is the first German university to offer a direct admission pathway based on the HSD. The only additional requirement is a successful result in an aptitude test such as the SAT or ACT.

Our simplified admission pathway for HSD holders is available for selected Bachelor’s programs, specifically our English-taught BA programs in International Business Management and International Engineering.
